Marc Westle, D.O., FACP is Mission Health's Senior Vice President of Innovation.
At Mission Health, Dr. Westle serves as a resident expert on healthcare delivery strategies as well as the organizational and innovative design of physician group management. Working in conjunction with the executive team, Dr. Westle will ensure Mission Heath leverages new technologies, products and partnerships to deliver efficient world-class healthcare in pursuit of Mission's BIG(GER) Aim, getting each of Mission's patients to his/her desired outcome: without harm, without waste and with an exceptional experience.
Prior to his appointment as Senior Vice President of Innovation, Dr. Westle served as President and CEO of Mission Medical Associates, the physician group practice of Mission Health, an organization Dr. Westle not only started from the ground up, but grew it to include over 160 physicians and 50 advanced practitioners in more than 25 specialties across 30 local and regional offices.
A board-certified internist by training, Dr. Westle received his medical degree at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, MO and went on to complete his residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey's Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Westle has also completed the American College of Physician Executives -- physician executive training program and is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE).
Dr. Westle and his wife, Jackie, reside in Asheville, NC with their two daughters, Amanda and Lacy.
