At Mission Health System, we want to help you achieve your career and educational goals. The purpose of Mission's Education Assistance Program is to assist staff members and others in pursuing educational opportunities that will prepare them for employment or career advancement in healthcare. All educations assistance programs, mentioned here or covered in HR Policy #2.01, are dependent on funding availability. Monies for any education assistance program are not guaranteed, nor are implied to be so.
Types of Education Assistance:
Individuals who meet qualifications may apply for monetary assistance from Mission Health System for the following:

East Tennessee State University (ETSU) Third-Party Billing and In-state Tuition
Applies To:
- All full-time and part-time staff
- PRN staff who worked a minimum of 40 hours per pay period in the previous six months at Mission Health System
- Department directors, or high potential staff members pursuing graduate-level education (Leadership Education Advancement Program)
