Human Resources facilitates General Orientation for new staff at Mission.

Day of General Orientation:

If you need to contact the facilitator the day of Orientation, call 828-777-0655.  This phone number is only available the day of orientation.

Inclement Weather:
All Mission classes and meetings follow AB-Tech's Inclement Weather Policy.

• If AB Tech cancels classes, Mission General Orientation will be cancelled.  HR staff will contact you regarding a make-up General Orientation and start date.
• If AB-Tech has a "late-start", General Orientation will start at it's normal time of 8am (please arrive between 7:15-7:45 for registration). 

Arrival:

Please arrive between 7:15 - 7:45 and not later than 7:45am. 

Directions & Parking:

General Orientation is located in the Glenn Theater, which is on the second floor of the Owen Heart Center of the Memorial Campus in Asheville: Mission Hospital Campus Map

Parking:  Orientation attendees will need to park in the Sunnicrest Lot on the AB Tech Campus.  Shuttles will provide transportation to the Heart Tower.

From Biltmore Avenue:  From the intersection of Biltmore Avenue and Victoria Road, proceed 0.8 miles south on Victoria Road, through the AB Tech campus.  Turn right then follow road to left 0.1 miles to entrance of Sunnicrest Parking Lot on left.

From Meadow Road:  From the intersection of MEadow Road and Victoria Road, proceed 0.3 miles to 1st road on left.  Follow road to the left 0.1 miles to entrance of Sunnicrest Parking Lot on left.
