For several years now, Mission has provided a patient navigator for women diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to a partnership between Mission and the American Cancer Society, more area patients will have a patient navigator.
Mission's patient navigatory will work primarily with radiation and outpatient infusion therapy patients, but is available to any cancer patient.
Mission is the first hospital in the Carolinas chosen by the American Cancer Society to participate in this partnership.
