If you or your loved ones are planning a pregnancy, expecting, or provide care to women who fit these descriptions, you should take advantage of Fullerton Genetics Center's outreach programs. These programs are rich sources of information, education, support, and comfort, and most of them are free.
Our outreach programs range from understanding the importance of taking folic acid for prenatal health to building skills in caring for newborns to finding excellent support for children with fetal alcohol syndrome. We support these programs with dedicated staff members, financial contributions, and cooperative efforts among Mission Hospital and other community hospitals and health departments throughout Western North Carolina.
