Anillo vaginal El anillo vaginal es un anillo flexible de aproximadamente 2 pulgadas (5,1 cms) de diametro que se inserta dentro de la vagina y que libera progestageno y estrogeno dentro del cuerpo para evitar el embarazo. La mujer se lo inserta ella misma, lo deja en la vagina durante 3 semanas y luego lo retira por una semana para tener el periodo. Al igual que otros metodos hormonales, se requiere prescripcion por parte del medico.
