With three Patient Service Centers (PSC) in Asheville, it provides a quick and easy way to work a physician ordered lab visit into your already busy day.
Mission Lab Services is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, American Association of Blood Banks, and one of the first laboratories in the southeast to receive ISO 9001 Certification. This assures a standard quality of care you expect and deserve from the Mission Health System family of medical services.
Outpatients may use one of our three Patient Service Centers - Mission Lab Express. At Mission Lab Express our goal is to deliver an enjoyable experience from the moment you arrive with ample parking, comfortable facilities, reduced wait times and exceptional local-based customer service. Your physician will enjoy a quick turnaround on results, integration with electronic medical records and available consultation on clinical lab tests. For children requiring lab work there is an additional option to use laboratory services at the Mission Children's Hospital at the Reuter Children's Outpatient Center with a child friendly lobby and medical facilities.
