Through Paws with a Purpose, a non-profit volunteer driven organization, we are now able to used trained pet therapy volunteer teams to work one-on-one with our children under the direction of their therapist.
Specific goals vary with the child and may include:
- Upper and lower extremity range of motion and strengthening, balance, mobility, gross/fine motor coordination
- Visual perceptual skills
- Eye/hand coordination
- Attention span and memory skills
- Socialization and communication skills
