We have coverage options for you and your family, including comprehensive medical, wellness, behavioral health, prescription benefits and more. There is also a catastrophic indemnity plan option available. We pay for part of the coverage and you pay the balance out of your bi-weekly paycheck.
Our dental plan can cover you alone or you and your family. Coverage includes preventive, diagnostic, basic and major services, and orthodontics. Again we pay for part of the coverage, and you pay the rest through payroll deduction.
Flexible Spending Account for Health Care
With this plan, you can use your own pretax dollars to pay for certain healthcare expenses that are not covered under your health plan.
Alternative Healthcare Discount Card
For a small deduction from you paycheck, you can receive discounts from a number of area alternative healthcare practitioners, including acupuncturists, massage therapists, chiropractors, and alternative medicine physicians. For a few dollars a month, you can have access to Mission's own fitness center located right on campus. Your family can join for a fee, too. If you prefer, you can take advantage of discounted membership rates for our employees at a number of private health clubs.
Get staff discounts on wellness classes like yoga, strength training, and tai chi, as well as other services, including massages. You can also check out the resource center's books and magazines.
Disease Management Programs and Health Promotion
We offer programs for staff with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, asthma, COPD, diabetes, depression, lower back problems. Classes include medication review, activity, stress management and nutrition. By agreeing to comply with the program requirements, participants will have reduced or waived copays for medications and supplies related to these illnesses or other incentives may apply.
Our educational and supportive program provides bedside, outpatient, and phone consults for staff members wanting to quit smoking or using other nicotine products. Also available to employees only is the Assist to Quit program which offers eduction, support and free smoking cessation products for those who comply with the program.
