The Adolescent Program at Copestone provides acute inpatient care and crisis stabilization for adolescents who are 13 to 17 years of age. The program is aimed toward rapid stabilization, intensive evaluation, treatment with disposition and integration back into the community.
We also offer an Intensive Outpatient Adolescent Substance Abuse Program. This cost-effective, non-residential substance abuse treatment is an eight week intensive program that meets approximately six hours per week.
Our Outpatient Program Emphasizes:
- Family participation
- Cognitive behavioral skills training
- Orientation to a 12 step recovery model
- Daily relapse prevention planning
- Treatment of co-existing behavioral or emotional problems
- Experimental learning through therapeutic activities
- Transition to less intensive treatment
- Commitment to a recovery community emphasizing respect, honesty and helping others
