Mission Women's Health Center offers women access to some of the highest quality medical and surgical treatment in western North Carolina.
The 20 bed Women's Surgery patient care unit on the Memorial campus is devoted to the special needs of female patients recovering from complex gynecologic and pelvic surgery or coping with women's cancer treatment. These can include gynecologic cancers, breast cancers, and urinary and fecal incontinence problems.
Technical and procedural advances make it possible to provide gynecological surgery in out-patient or in-patient locations, depending on each woman's medical need. Many of these surgeries can be performed using minimally invasive surgery techniques.
