The possibility of having breast cancer can be overwhelming.
You may be wondering how you’re going to cope with the tests and treatments and how this is all going to affect you and your family. You’re facing decisions that may affect the rest of your life.
The Breast Program at Mission Hospitals was established to help. We work with you, your physicians and other caregivers to:
- Bring your entire medical team together to review your individual case and recommend a treatment plan (via a weekly Pretreatment Planning Conference).
- Provide you with the factual information you need about your treatment options, to make decisions that are right for you.
- Offer resources and support for you and your family throughout your diagnosis and treatment.
The more information and support you have, the more prepared you’ll be to participate in decisions about your care. You’ll know what to expect at each step, and you’ll feel confident that you’re making the best choices for you.
