Gastroenterology - Digestive System

In pediatric gastroenterology, we provide diagnosis and management of persistent and severe gastro-intestinal (GI) illnesses including failure to thrive, severe inflammatory bowel disease and liver disorders.

GI problems-for example, persistent diarrhea, constipation and encopress-which fail to resolve after two or three visits are analyzed through an in-depth workup.

The pediatric gastroenterologist helps diagnose problems that present with confusing and misleading symptoms, including gastroesophogeal reflux, persistent belly pain, recurrent vomiting, anorexia and feeding disorders. PH probe studies for reflux and endoscopy services are provided by certified staff trained to meet children's specific needs.
